Integrating the Tri-Fusion gene into your cells of interest allows you take the cells from preclinical testing in-vitro to mice to clinical applications in humans.

  • Fluorescent reporter gene component can be used to image individual labeled cells with a fluorescence microscope and sort cells that are positive for tri-fusion reporter gene
  • Bioluminescence reporter gene component allows imaging of the cells in mice and bioluminescence imaging can be performed inexpensively with very high throughput
  • PET reporter genes are currently the best method for reporter gene based imaging of cell kinetics in animals that are larger than rodents and in humans

To translate cell kinetics imaging for clinical applications, microPET imaging can be used for initial validation. PET reporter gene imaging may be more sensitive than bioluminescence reporter gene imaging in deep tissues of mice and rats.
