Technology - Fluorescence Optical Imaging
Fluorescence images are obtained by detecting light of a certain wavelength emitted from molecules that have been excited by light of another wavelength. Various sensitive instruments are available for fluorescence imaging.
Fluorescence Reporter Genes
Fluorescence reporter genes, such as those encoding green fluorescent protein (GFP) and red fluorescent protein offer many in vitro and in vivo molecular-genetic applications. CellSight uses Fluorescence reporter genes for cell sorting.
Please note CellSight does not perform in vivo fluorescence studies. In vivo fluorescence and bioluminescence imaging may require a license from third parties.
